Chamber Innovista is back for second season with three concerts
Chamber Innovista performances will take place in the heart of the Innovista in the School of Music Recital Hall. The series’ second season will begin in January 2009 and feature three concerts.
Chamber Innovista's innovative and original chamber music follows in the rich tradition of the Cornelia Freeman September Concert Series, one of the school's most popular series.

The Chamber Innovista series debuted in January 2008 with two concerts, highlighted by George Crumb’s Music for a Summer Evening for two pianos and two percussion and Olivier Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time, to commemorate Messiaen’s 100th birthday. Also featured were works by Johannes Brahms and Max Bruch, as well as the music of Malcolm Arnold, performed by the Faculty Brass Quintet.
