Reflection + Relaxation
A long day in the hydrogen fuel cell or nanocomposites lab can stress out even the most enthusiastic researcher.
Get a little R&R with your R&D
But Innovista will offer a variety of relaxing getaways. With full wi-fi access, a breather may be as simple as taking a
laptop out of lab and sitting on a bench in Foundation Square to enjoy Columbia’s beautiful weather. It could be
a relaxing walk along the Three Rivers Greenway or, in the future,
the enjoyable distraction of a detour to a new world-class Waterfront Park or a creative sculpture garden.
Work it out
For those who need to burn a little more energy, Stronghold Athletic Club, just south of Gervais Street at 925 1/2 Huger St.,
features weight training, fitness classes, and a 6,000-square-foot-plus climbing area that includes a 40-foot climbing wall.
The Athlete Factory, 534 Lady St., provides personal training, yoga, pilates, and massage therapy.
For business tenants that are eligible for the University’s Innovista Partners Program, employees will be able to pay a small monthly fee to use the stunning, palmetto-tree-lined Wellness and Fitness Center, which has an indoor track, five basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, and its own 52-foot climbing wall.
Hit the highlights
If pampering is more your style, the Logan Raye Spa, Salon and Gallery provides award-winning service from body massages
to highlights. La Spalon offers hair care, consultation, waxing, and facials.
For hair care needs, the Tillman Salon provides hair coloring and styling for all styles. The more adventurous Cosmo girl or guy will enjoy the Vista Studio Salon for the latest styles and trends. Columbia’s The Salon offers hair care with a specialty in reconditioning.
First-floor convenience
For those who make their home in the Renaissance Plaza condos along Lady Street, Salon Vista,
Beauty Within Hair Salon, Mojo City Salon, and Anansa’s Nail Gallery are conveniently located just downstairs
in these three-story live-work units.
